To begin, this site divides the brain into three major sections - the cerebrum, the midbrain and the hindbrain. (Clicking on these links will lead you to the glossary) However, bear in mind that the divisions differ from source to source. In spite of a slight discrepancy in the location of brain parts, most other information relating to the functions and applications of the brain structures remain invariably the same.
