- 09 - The Hermit -
historical
- Ah - yet another stop on our Whirlwind Tour O' Tarot obviousness.
Hermit is that crazy drifter hobo guy and/or the squatter in the forest,
that's also really wise what with being alone and semi-dieseased granting
enlightnement and stuff. Kind of like Obi Wan Kenobi (no, not the pansy young
jedi, the one who hung out with the pansy young jedi).
card
- Wisdom from solitude. Solitude from wisdom. The hermit can
also be a bit of a teacher, but that's really more of the Hierophant's thing.
Hermit can also mean "big fat loser loner" if you're taking it in a bad way...
and an involutary one, at that.
hermit
meaning - Introspection, solitude, knowledge, meditation.
hermit
reversed meaning - Isolation, stubbornness, loneliness, suffering because
one rejects advice from others.
persona
wielder - None. Silly loner card. |
