- 20 - Judgement -

historical -Judgement as a concept is found nigh everywhere in tradition, really.  Which makes it all warm and fuzzy and multicultural.  Hurray! Usually related to judgement by or baptism to a god... and often equated to the Christian Last Judgement wherein the world gets all destroyed and God sorts us out.  Like laundry.  But not.

card - Judgement is all about purpose.  Erm.. and change.  Which I guess is a theme in alot of these cards, but that change is usually either external or accidental or the like in most others.  Judgement signifies and evolution to whatever new state you're being shuffled off to as sentence.  And, naturally, the making of a descision or judgement.

judgement meaning - The taking of a definitive step, or deliberate change of position.  Making the choice between heaven and earth - the physical and enlightenment. Resolution or completion. Evolution.  Intellectual fame.

judgement reversed meaning - Weakness.  Simplicity and shallowness.  Deliberation and waffling without being able to come to a descision. Transient fame or glory.

persona wielder - Ellen Kirishima from Revelations and Eternal Punishment. It's Spoilertastic?

Wouldn't dare write Judgement without a little bit o' rambling for the Ellen fanboys out there.  *cough*  You know who you are.

So.. why does occult-girl get the pretty pretty angel personas?  Simple enough -  at least from a post-Revelations perspective. First off there's the whole aforementioned occult obsession, which rather intensifies the matter at hand.  Ellen has no problem making choices, it seems... even the rather serious choice she was faced with.  Intellectual fame or that from transient beauty?  Her university degree or modelling?  Knowledge or the simplicity and wealth of life in front of the camera?  It seems that as of EP she's decided to go with the former, scaling back her modelling career in order to persue a bachelor's degree.  Hence her being Judgement and not some cheap reversed ripoff.
