- 06 - The Lovers -

historical - Honestly?  It's not a huge exercise of the imagination.  Lovers.  People in love.  Pretty pretty young people arm in arm.  Cards can depict famous sets of lovers, but really.. it's not exactly obscure imagery unless you come from some freaky asexual amoeba society. 

card - Awwwww... lookit Romeo and Juliet.  Don't let them fool you with their evil schemes.  Lovers is often a card of dulaity - a card of choice. Sure, it's about love... but it's about a value choice.  Dirty sex or purity and enlightenment?  Mommy vs. Girlfriend?  Outcome of love triangles. And let's not forget the involvement of ... well, love. 

lovers meaning - Passion.  Love.  Inspiration.  A moral/ethical choice to be made.  Intuition.  Impractical nature.  Beauty.  Childishness. 

lovers reversed meaning - Frustration of love or shallow love.  Instability.  Triviality.  Contradiction.

persona wielder - Lisa Silverman from IS.  (sexy sexy spoilers)

Well, this is amazingly obvious. Lisa is hung up on Tatsuya (though besides his looks, I really can't fathom why...).  Basically the Selphie Timlett of Persona, if you will,  but with a hardcore crush.  As an idol singer she's presumably at least middling hot - or at least enough to attract Ginji Sasaki, everyone's favorite walking Lolita complex. And Lisa's attachment to Tatsuya is alot more trivial and the like than his relationships with Maya and Jun. Gooo card reversal.  Sucks to be Lisa.  Although there are hints of her eventually getting together with Eikichi at some point, who's about ten times as cool as Tatsuya anyways (not that that's hard). So... doesn't suck to be Lisa?
