- 10 - Wheel of Fortune -

historical - No, not the gameshow. Get thee gone, Vanna!  Wheel of fortune is based loosely apon a legend about a dream of King Arthur's from the eleventh century.  Imagery calls on good ol' Lady Luck, who actually got her start as an old Greco-Roman goddess.

card - "I shall reign, I reign, I reigned, I am without reign" - it's an old Roman quote, and it's damn true.  See, Wheel isn't really about luck alot of the time... or, to be more precise, it's about both good and bad luck.  What goes up must come down and vice versa.  It's the great circle of life, an ol' Simba's eventually vulture-fodder.  Along with Justice, this card is really related to karma.

wheel of fortune meaning - fortune, or a change of fortune. Change, in fact, in general - often good luck in times of change. Chance or probability.

fortune reversed meaning - bad fortune, or a change of fortune.  Chance or probability.  Bad luck.

persona wielder - Jun Kuroda, the resident girly-boy of Innocent Sin.  Do that funky spoiler dance.

Right then.  Y'know that pretentious looking Roman quote up there?  That... is pretty much Jun in a nutshell.  First he's happy lil' kid with mommy and daddy.  Then daddy's up and dead, Mommy's a cradle-robbing floozy, and poor lil' Jun is off to school where he gets his ass kicked for being prettier than the members of the cheerleading squad.  What's a boy to do?  Why, become defensively violent and the superpowered leader of a supernatural cult, of course!  So then he rules for a bit... and is eventually taken down by he best buddy/boyfriend/whatever the hell Tatsuya is.  After which he's all fighting for Good and the like.  Then he has to lose his memories and go back to square one.

The point?  Jun gets whirled around in position more than usual in the spin-cycle of life.  Go fortune.
